Photo-Painting

Photo-Painting is an installation that adapts to the exhibition space. This work seeks to question the boundary between painting and photography.

The word “Photography” derives from the Greek “fós”, which refers to light, and “grafis”, which means to write, record, draw or paint. Thus, we can understand photography as a practice of painting with light.

Considering this, the installation seeks to use the photographic technique not only as a pictorial medium, but as a plastic expression that can be confused with painting or vice versa.
